Field notes
We keep a running log of small tools and habits that survived more than a month of real use. No rankings, no affiliate pitches — just what stayed in the workflow.
- Tidying a photo library without tagging everything by hand
- Keeping offline copies of talks worth re-listening to
- Quiet home tech that ignores you until asked
What is here
Each note links to the longer write-up on the project site it came from. If a tool needs an account before it does anything useful, we usually skip it — that rule alone removed most of the candidates.
For prompt work, the photography prompt library is the one we actually reopen; for searching a photo archive by description we lean on AI photo search.
